Marcia Dawood is elected chair of the ACA’s board of directors
Marcia Dawood has been elected chair of the Angel Capital Association’s board of directors. Marcia is a venture partner at Mindshift Capital, an investment committee member of Next Wave Impact Fund and a member of Golden Seeds and BlueTree Capital. She has more than 200 early-stage private companies in her portfolio, including Zive and Misfits Bakehouse. Marcia is also co-host of the angel investing podcast “Angels Live!”
Among those joining the board are Kristina Montague of Chattanooga, Tenn. who is a member of The JumpFund and Nicole Washington, a Washington, D.C. investor and member of Ohio TechAngels Fund.
ACA provides education, public policy advocacy, professional development, resources and networking on behalf of its 14,000-member angel investors globally.
Paige Daly is appointed chair of the HCPEA
Paige Daly, a partner at Harvest Partners, is appointed chair of the Healthcare Private Equity Association, assuming the role from Diane Daych, managing partner and co-founder at Granite Growth Health Partners.
HCPEA is a nonprofit trade association focused on supporting the health care private equity community. Founded in 2010, it consists of more than 800 investors, representing 80 firms.
The HCPEA board also includes Amy Christensen a partner at The Vistria Group, and Anushka Sunder a managing director at Blackstone.
