Drescher and Berger promoted at Apollo Global Management
Apollo Global Management, Inc. elevates Stephanie Drescher and Heather Berger to key roles.
Stephanie is now chief client and product development officer. In that role, she will continue to oversee the firm’s client and product solutions group and will also spearhead the newly created global wealth management solutions vertical within CPS. Stephanie has been with Apollo for the past 17 years and has led its efforts for raising capital, managing limited partner relationships and designing products and strategies with investment teams. She is a past speaker at the Women’s Private Equity Summit, which Apollo has been a sponsor of.
Heather is now a senior partner and co-lead of the institutional client and product solutions vertical within CPS. She most recently served as the lead product specialist of CPS.
Apollo had approximately $461 billion in assets as of March 31.
Hippeau, Strandberg, Phelps and Manning Cohen promoted to partner at Lerer Hippeau
New York venture firm Lerer Hippeau has gone from having no female partners to now having four. The firm said it promoted Andrea Hippeau, Caitlin Strandberg and Isabelle Phelps to partner and Stephanie Manning Cohen to operating partner. Andrea has been with Lerer Hippeau since 2014, Caitlin since 2018 and Isabelle and Stephanie both joined in 2017.
Stride Ventures promotes Sharma
Stride Ventures has promoted Apoorva Sharma. Apoorva is now a partner with the India-based venture debt firm. She joined Stride in December 2019 from Xander Finance Private, Ltd.
Stride closed its debut fund earlier this year at R350 crore ($48.3 million). It is now raising a second fund, which has a target of R1,000 crore ($137 million). Stride works with companies in an array of sectors. It has offices in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore, India.
