Scale Venture Partners closes its seventh fund – a fund that Stacey Bishop will help lead and which Susan Liu will be involved in deploying. The Foster City, Calif. venture firm raised $600 million and will continue to invest in enterprise technology. Specifically, it will seek opportunities in “future of work” technologies, cloud infrastructure, enterprise security and industry verticals that have traditionally not invested heavily in software solutions.
Scale closed its sixth fund in 2018 at $400 million.
Stacey is one of five partners who will lead the new fund. Earlier this year, one of her portfolio companies, AllyO, was acquired by Carlyle Group-backed HireVue, Inc. Stacey is on the boards of Abstract; Airspace; Demandbase; Extole; Lever, whose co-founder and CEO is Sarah Nahm; and Textio, whose co-founder and CEO is Kieran Snyder. She is a past speaker at the Women’s Private Equity Summit.
Susan, a principal, has been involved in Scale’s investments in WalkMe, Lever, Namely, Textio, Unbabel, TalkIQ and Wrike. She serves as an observer on the boards of WalkMe and Unbabel. Last year, one of the companies that she works with, Scout RFP, was acquired by Workday for $540 million.
