Barbara Roberts' Big City Access has been sold
Private equity-backed Big City Access, Inc., whose founder and president is Barbara Roberts, has been sold. A provider of scaffolding and other access solutions in the Texas commercial construction market, Big City was sold to BrandSafway. Terms were not disclosed. Created in 2017 through a merger, BrandSafway is currently the world’s largest provider of integrated commercial and industrial services. Barbara founded Houston-based Big City in 2002. The company works with area builders, contractors, construction managers and developers to provide safe and efficient solutions for construction projects. Big City employs 160 employees and in addition to Houston has locations in Dallas, San Antonio and Austin, Texas. Rock Hill Capital recapitalized the company in early 2016.
