A group of investment firms pound capital into a construction technology company co-founded and led by Meirav Oren. Versatile raised $20 million from Insight Partners, Entrée Capital and prior investors Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH, Root Ventures and Conductive Ventures. Based in Los Altos, Calif., Versatile is using machine learning and AI to optimize construction processes. The company’s CraneView product – which is mounted under the hook of any crane – captures and analyzes thousands of data points to deliver real-time insights on jobsite performance and streamline decision-making. It provides information on materials, redundancies, construction progress and crane utilization. Meirav founded the company with Danny Hermann, Ran Oren and Barak Cohen. https://www.versatile.ai/.
