You may view, download for caching purposes only, from the website for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.

Falk Marques Group may disable your user ID and password in Falk Marques Group sole discretion without notice or explanation.

Breaches of these terms and conditions

Without prejudice to Falk Marques Group’s other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these terms and conditions in any way, Falk Marques Group may take such action as Falk Marques Group deems appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the website, prohibiting you from accessing the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.

Variation

Falk Marques Group may revise these terms and conditions from time-to-time. Revised terms and conditions will apply to the use of this website from the date of the publication of the revised terms and conditions on this website. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.

Assignment

Falk Marques Group may transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with Falk Marques Group’s rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions without notifying you or obtaining your consent.

You may not transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with your rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.

Severability

If a provision of these terms and conditions is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.

PEAK Summits

Data collection/ processing

Upon registering for your membership, you will receive communications in relation to the Summits run by Falk Marques Group by email and/or telephone and/or SMS and/or post. You may also receive communications about other related events and products from Pageant Media under legitimate interest.

If you register your interest/apply for a membership/enquire to sponsor, you may receive communications about other related events and products from Pageant Media under legitimate interest even if your registration is not confirmed/you do not sponsor.

Your data will not be shared with any third parties without your consent unless it needs to be shared for the organization of the Summit/s that is/are part of your membership package. For example, with the security team of the event venue. Only details required for this specific purpose will be shared.

By registering for a membership your name, job title and company name may be displayed on a delegate list of the Summit/s that are part of your membership package. This list is presented at the Summit/s both digitally and via a hard copy that is available for all attendees.

Falk Marques Group may provide our sponsors/speakers with a list of companies that are attending in advance of the Summit/s with a selection of job titles from those organizations. This may also be placed on our website or used for marketing purposes both pre and post Summit. Your data will only be shared with those sponsors who require this to invite delegates to private functions throughout the Summits. Falk Marques Group may also share your data with sponsors, on a case by case basis, at their discretion.

On occasions, our sponsors may wish to contact you about their products/services. If so, you will be given the opportunity to opt into receive these communications via an online form. If you choose to opt in, you will receive an email communication sent by the organizers on behalf of the sponsor.

Any sensitive data provided (e.g. dietary requirements) will only be used for the purposes of the specific Summit you are registering for and will be deleted from our data systems within one week of the Summit taking place.

Transfer of data

Third party data processors and other such business relationships are required to take adequate technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. Falk Marques Group also takes measures to ensure that personal information transferred by us both inside and outside of the EEA is adequately protected.

Third parties

Falk Marques Group may disclose personal information about you internally and to third parties for processing purposes associated with payment processing, the supply of goods and services, for web site administration. All third parties are contractually bound only to use personal information to perform the services that Falk Marques Group hire them to provide. Falk Marques Group work with our suppliers to ensure compliance with current data protection regulation.

Photography

By attending Falk Marques Group events, you are providing consent to have your photograph taken at the event, which may be used by the organizers in future promotional material online or in print. Please contact PEAK@falkmarquesgroup.com if you do not wish your photograph to be used for marketing purposes.

Changes to events and cancellations

It may be necessary for reasons beyond Falk Marques Group’s reasonable control to alter the advertised content, timing and/or location of the Summits or the advertised speakers or sponsors. Falk Marques Group reserves the right to do this at any time. Where Falk Marques Group alter the time and/or location of the Summits, Falk Marques Group will provide you with notice of the same and will offer you the choice to attend next year’s Summit or a future Summit of your choice (up to the value of sums paid by you in respect of the Summit where applicable) or the opportunity to attend the Summit as varied.

If you are unable to attend the Summit, Falk Marques Group welcome substitute delegates/ guests attending in your place, and that Falk Marques Group have at least 7 days prior notice of the name of your proposed substitute and have received payment in full where applicable.

Any transfer requests must be to an individual at an equivalent or higher level of seniority than the original registrant, and only one transfer request will be allowed per original registration. To ensure that Falk Marques Group deliver a carefully balanced audience at each Summit, all transfer requests are subject to the approval of the Falk Marques Group. Shared registrations are not permitted.

No refunds on membership will be given in respect of any cancellations or non-attendance of our Summits.

Travel and accommodation

Falk Marques Group are not liable for travel to and from the event or other costs and expenses incurred (included wasted costs and expenses). If Falk Marques Group are required to cancel or relocate the event as a result of an event outside our control (including, without limitation, to acts of God, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, military operations, acts of terrorism or threats of any such acts, any strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action and a pandemic, epidemic or other widespread illness), Falk Marques Group shall not be liable to you for costs and expenses incurred (included wasted costs and expenses).

Virtual Summits

As part of your membership you will be invited to all virtual Summits hosted by Falk Marques Group. You will receive communications both prior and post recording in relation to each virtual event by email and/or telephone and/or SMS and/or post.

You may receive communications about other related events and products from Pageant Media under legitimate interest. Your data will not be shared with any third parties without your consent.

Falk Marques Group may provide confirmed/prospective sponsors/speakers with a list of individuals who are registered to attend both pre and post Summit. This list may include name, job title and company name information but would not include contact details.

On occasions, Falk Marques Group sponsors may wish to contact you about their products/ services. If so, you will be given the opportunity, via an online form, to consent to your contact details being shared with sponsors.

Any sensitive data provided (e.g. home address) will only be used for the purposes of our online Summits and will be deleted from our data systems within one week of the Summits taking place.

You have the right to opt-out of being contacted for direct marketing purposes by Pageant Media via email, voice calls, SMS or direct mail by updating your preferences in the Preference Centre (available via any marketing email) or by contacting us at data@pageantmedia.com.

Entire agreement

These terms and conditions, together with privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Falk Marques Group in relation to your use of this membership, and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this membership.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with UK Law and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
